Hey all,

We will be upgrading to Vbulletin 4.1.4 this week. This is quite a big change so it may take a day or two to switch.

Any questions/concerns, email me at admin@broadcastingworld.net

Hey Gary,

We used to run ob PhpBB back in 2008 but we unfortunately got some security breaches, we got offered vbulletin (what we have now) and we upgraded. We love vbulletin due to it being very secure, hence why we are upgrading our forum again :)

Thanks for the suggestion though!

What browser are you using Gary? :)

Try clicking on this icon --> 3 and it should enable the chatbox again...

Hi James,

3 questions ...

Is it possible to enable the "subscribe to thread" to automatic after a reply has been made ?
Can you fix the upload of mp3 and .wav files ... now they give an "invalid file" error
Can you set the "write" section to smaller ? Now lots of the written text is behind the right side
of the browser ...

To read TEXT to make voice-overs ... thats a huge prob, who has to be fixed

Thanks !

Hello James,

One last question ... than I'm gonna retire ... of asking questions ... LOL

At the station page ... The "edit" button is gone
The page by the owner of the profile is seen as a general page

Thats all folks :)

Hello James,

it Looks that I found the reason why I'm not able to see my "edit" station button
At the station page on top of the comments it shows "you're not logged in" ... log in or register
So it looks that the system on that page don't recognize Me

Is it possible to change the default thread display in the Radio Automation and it's sub-categories from Alphabetical to Last Post descending? (latest first?)

Hello James,
I'm dropping by ... once again
I have some ideas ... I don't want restrictions (I'm against them) ... but I guess You and We gonna need them afterall

- Is it possible to deny the "free VO" section to members who don't reach ex 5 posts ?
- Is it possible to restrict the amount of requests made by a single member into the "free VO" section ?

Reasons are :
- I see sometimes stupid requests to make a read about a subject(s) who don't looks logical to Me
ex : Me in the mix, dj XYZ in the mix etc
- I see several more or less new members who are making once every X-days a request with almost a similar content
- and my 3rd eye aka 6th sense tells Me that it looks that some pro compagnies are using the free section (??) ... I'm not 100% sure ... but it looks like that ...

A restriction could be that a regular/junior broadcaster member can't make more than 20% of VO read requests of his Monthly made total amount of posts
so one request if he/she made 5 posts, two if he/she made 10 posts etc etc
The system can make a reset to this restriction every new Month
