We have been doing this for almost 15 years. It has been quite a ride!

Check us out for the best new music mix of indie, alternative & modern rock! We also produce 12 shows a week in our regular schedule in addition to our hand-picked music selection.

Don't take our word for it, listen for yourself. Over 20,000 listeners a month cannot be wrong & here is what some of the local press say about us!

'Closing in on the big time' by Andrew Bonallack (''CityLife Porirua News'', 30 May 2012) -http://goo.gl/kkBMs

''Papakowhai unlikely base for US indie rock station'' by Andrea O'Neil (''KapiMana News'', 28 May 2012) - http://goo.gl/ClkBL

Afternoons with Jim Mora interview by Jim Mora (Radio New Zealand, recorded 29 May 2012) - http://goo.gl/mrjrC

...we have nothing to hide and nothing to be ashamed of. If you can't make the cut with your own station, then sit down and keep your mouth shut and keep your jealousy to yourself! :solved:

Just to add to my previous statement of 20,000 listeners a month and directed to a particular individual who claims that they are "experienced" in radio broadcasting, yet attempt to slander our station publically due to their obvious ignorance. In US radio there is a term called "cume" which is short for "cumulative audience". This is a measure of the total number of unique consumers over a specified period. The technical definition of cume is restricted by Arbitron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbitron) as requiring a listener to tune in for at least five minutes. According to our stats, that equals over 20,000 listeners a month.
