could someone tell me how to install shoutcast on a linux
step by step please

i dont have ssh access

anyone in the know?

mmm... fun

some how i think that this is going to be very difficult as you need ssh access to install it... damn, failing that... ask your hosts if they can install it for you

Its impossible to install shoutcast with out some type of root console

Quite impossible without SSH....
Why do you not have SSH access?
Another option is you could go for a stream provider, so you dont have to deal with maitnance!

Most shared hosts, and even most resellers won't allow SSH access, or if they do, it will be a jailed SSH account, with limited access...

Having said that, most shared hosts wouldn't allow you to setup a Shoutcast server :S
