View Full Version : Phoenix Web Radio saying hello!

Hey gang!

I am Aaron Phillips of Phoenix Web Radio and just wanted to make a post to say hello and introduce myself.

I am a former pro jock of 20 years in Western Colorado and Northern Arizona, who retired from the real world in 2004 and now has two online stations.

Totally 80's, an 80's retro station, imaged by Jeff Hutchens that streams on SpacialNet

And the new upstart, smooth jazz/latin jazz crossover Ambiance that is hosted on LoudCity where I have been a frequent participant in the forums there for over a year and a half.

I guess I started an uproar by making my first post a voiceover request and I guess I hit a nerve. Water off the duck's back. I have my image artist, Amie Breedlove, that I wanted, and I admit I understand the Internet frustrations of promises made and broken.

Sorry my earlier introduction was taken in a misconstrued manner, but let's wipe the slate.

Glad to be a new part of Broadcasting World!!

Hi Aaron
and Welcome to BW
After this introduction it ain't gonna be any prob to receive some liners ... I guess :)
In general a new member have to make at least some posts (I think 5) before making any requests
Enjoy BW !

Thank you for the reply.

All is well with Phoenix Web Radio.

I'm sorry I did not know the rules about submitting an imaging request, but I have my girl on board now, but I do look forward to participating in future conversations!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome to BW, and it's nice to see some familiar names and faces from LoudCity here as well.

I have enjoyed looking around the site and even found another female image voice I could hire if Amie Breedlove's liners don'r quiet catch the spirit of Ambiance.

April has truly been amazing for Phoenix Web radio's stations. Our flagship, Totally 80's had a slow beginning but since recent additions to iTunes and Windows Media Radio Tuner we have been doubling our numbers practically every month.

The scary thing is, our little upstart jazz station, is offer to a faster start than totally 80's and setting records after just a few months that it took T80's a year or more to reach. Scary to think what that station's gonna be like in a year and why I am in such a hurry to get the imaging in place. People are tuning in and it's not quite as polished as I like to be.

So again thanks for the welcome, and I look forward to getting to know some of you better!!!
