Does anyone have any songs, that have strong, true meanings? One I can think of right now if Nickle Back - If today was your last day. If you listen / read the lyrics, each line is so true. I'm interested to hear some more songs like this, Someone share one? ;D

I do have 3 examples of ages ago ...
and I like them both very much
1 ) Thomas Newman - Cheek to Cheek (mid 40s)
2 ) Jean Gabin - Maintenant Je Sais (60s)
3 ) Josť Feliciano - The Rain (70s)

Don't know if there is any video available ...

Harry Chapin made during the 70s also an other great song called W.O.L.D.
That song was aired many many times at Offshore Radio's in Europe
I have them both in my playlists

Harry Chapin

One other example is Untitled by Simple Plan, especially when you listen to the story behind it and why it was written.

Metallica-Master of Puppets - about drug addiction
-Mama said - about James Hetfield's mother (I think there is a song on every Metallica album about James' mother)
Disturbed-Down with the Sickness - about Child abuse
Boston-Higher Power - about drug addiction

That Nickelback song is awesome! :)

I'd say, Rascal Flatts - Like I Am.
