Hi folks, I'm new at doing this so I'm looking for some feedback on these commercials I made for johny c. He plays my comedy skits about “Pappy and his Sidekick”. So I thought I'd make a couple of skits/commercials using the two (2) characters.

But anyway, Do you think they will get people to listen to the comedy skits and his station?

Hi Bill,
The content sounds fun, so also both caracters
Important : manage the general volume of the sound file aka set your record volume higher

Thanks GK,
The old mans voice (Pappy) is kind of soft. I can't do it as loud as the other voice. I did some editing to the files volume, noise removal etc.. But they just didn't seem right. I'll check my settings and see what happens.

Thanks again,

I guess it has to do with your general "recording" volume (so not your mic) ... but the record input of your software
Try to use the "noise removal" tool the "least" as possible (it decrease the quality) ... use it only to real old or bad recording sessions (example : earlier ripped vinyl to MP3 etc) ... In general it isn't needed to upgrade a current made dry VOX file

What you can and may use is your "normalize" tool : select each single part and normalize upto 100 untill 120% (more or less) - so don't select your complete file and normalize, that don't gonna give much results
If done ok, all parts of your WAVE gonna look equal to eachother (same wide of each channel - left and right)
If needed you can add some EQ to finish the editing

However if you use a caracter voice, and the results are looking ok ... don't add EQ ... just keep it the way it is ... the more natural = the better
