In the past 3 months, I've been working on Stream101's new website, new Control Panel system, new Client Area, and a bunch of new features that I cant say yet!

We want to know...what would YOU as streaming clients, radio stations, hobby broadcasters, and more, like to see from our company?

No ... somebody :)
I guess many people have visited the look of your new website ...
I did also since your first posting (July, 23) ... but made also no reply ...
sorry for that
My idea is : it looks smooth and very nice
the pages do have a fast respons and all details can be easily found

Ever thought about a server reseller aria for streaming ... ?
just my 2 cents :D

Thankyou for your comments. The new site (which you see now) was launched today.

We have thought of reselling streaming, however the 12 months it was available, nobody was interested. We had over 5,000 shoutcast signups, but not one reseller. We do private reseller accounts for many people, but not publicly anymore, as it is just another page to overwhelm a potential client.

I really dig the website! Very big improvements.

The only thing that urked me? Why is Icecast slots more than shoutcast?

Icecast can have multiple sources off one server, It uses less CPU usage, and all its auto DJ's (like Ices) use less cpu than SC Trans, so why is it more? Unless your running trunk (which if you offer centova, the syntax is too different to bin it, so thats shot) 2.3.2 should not list more than SC considering its YP standings, ect. NOW, trunk? a whole different story. Thats worth its weight in gold with URL admin based server functions, its awesome backend, and the fact that with a little php "echo <icecast.xml>" you will never have to shell in to reload your server config, and your listeners dont get dumped with config reload (from what I have found with experimentation) plus .flv wrapper support?

Check out the latest experimentation with radiokick.

There was a bug that caused it to skip with the flv to start, but a little java action, and.....

AAC+ flash live trans-coding through a .flv wrapper.

Well...it costs more because it is new. The price will go down once people express some interest in it and the servers get closer to bring paid for.

That is quite cool!
