(ofcourse they have the million dollar studio, but besides that) Or do they have there own very special sparkley programs that your average Joe either doesn't know about or can't afford to use. Kind of like a race car drivers.

I am using audacity for making some vocalizations. Meaning I think I am making dry voice overs though i am not sure.

I am not completely happy with the results do to the fact I might be missing some setting to make it sound right. Can I get some advice on how to make audacity make things the best they can be.

If you want to produce them and add effects that would be great. I am willing to donate to get them done if your samples are the sound we are looking for the station.

Any one feel like sharing about jingles and sweepers ETC and when to use them.

I need some help with setting up a mixer, my automation software is Radiodj and have it set up as per these instructions https://www.radiodj.ro/wp-content/uploads/mixer-setup.jpg, however I have 1 mic and i need to be able to quickly create intros etc with that one mic in audacity, my mixer is a Behringer Q1202 usb mixer, altough im not currently using it for soundcard, I have another external usb soundcard which is setup as in the instructions above is it possible to send my mic output to Audacity but Not to Radiodj, and then switch back so i can use in Radiodj the mic is connected to line 1 of my mixer which is xlr.

Quick question. The male voice of the radio station that was Capital Gold, was his name Andrew White? Does anyone know if he is still doing voice overs?

We are going to use the Dante system to transmit the audio from our studio to the other building and back for crosstalk. My design guy seems to think that I will need more than what Eartec offers to get audio back and forth. He says the question then would be how to separate the intercom transmit and receive audio. With only one audio line, I don't know how you would handle bidirectional audio. Does anyone know if the Eartec system with the Clearcom interface needs anymore gear to make it work?

My designer seems to think it needs some more equipment. Since not using the Eartec system before he is not sure how it will work. Here is what he thinks:....."At the remote site (new gym) it gets a little more ambiguous for me because I can't find many details on Eartec's website about their products. It looks like their interface is designed to plug into an intercom line with one cable and then another cable plugs into the hub for the headsets. It doesn't look like it's designed for line level audio (but you might talk to your rep to see if they have a product that would work that way). What I think you might have to do on the gym side would be to pull the line level audio off the Dante line (which would be an in and an out with transmit and receive audio and then take that to another TW-47 interface. That would take it back into the Clearcom world, but you'd also have to have a power supply (this would be the cheapest: http://clearcom.com/product/pk-7/) to power the interface and drive the line that hits the Eartec device."

Is there anyone out there that knows? Eartec doesn't know how it will work with the Dante system.

The problem with the last one is that it is a run of 40'. I would need 2 40' runs.

So let me run through my scenario of what I am going to do again. Go from main out phone jack L & R and somehow get it to my mixer 40' away and into an XLR input. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is nice to be apart of the community that loves radio like I do. I have had a passion and dreams to be in radio since I was a child in the 80s. I have had the honors to volunteer in radio since my Jr High days back in 1991 and finally got hired at a community radio station as a studio engineer in 2012. Here is fraction of some of my production work I have done, not including my on-air persona I have done overnights with my EDM show.
