    Pirated Software

I am against running pirated software mostly because it's the only way the software will be developed further. Years ago I'd use pirated software to test it out but end up buying it. All of the...

    Exactly

That's why I always maintain a 32k stream as well. I don't want to exclude anyone, but the sound quality does suffer at that bit rate. As long as they can listen, though, it's all that matters.

    Auto-Pilot

My station is on AutoDJ most of the time. It's self-run and I honestly don't have the time to dedicate to a scheduled show. I do run syndicated shows on my station throughout the week to break...

    Poll: FM Professionality

(I just made that word up)

  10. More than just music

I've given thought to reviving serials. Not on my station, mind you, but on a new station. Take some (serious) time to prep a few serialized shows like they had back with Radio was Television. ...

    Multiple Bit rates

I find that having multiple bit rates helps, more than anyone, dial-up users if you have a lower-end 32k stream available. Of course, as a dial-up user streaming audio is about all you'd be able to...

Poll: Re: Request Lines.. phone or email?

My requests are handled in a number of ways.

Through the SAM generated request script and router through my own request proxy (from Festerhead).
If I'm doing a live webcast, via email.
    If I'm...
