You can order a dedi server and install Centova, or any other stream control panel - it will do most of the hard work for you: you'll get Shoutcast/Icecast and easy way to configure everything....

The BW web site often works painfully slow for me...

There are about 300 countries in the world, and each one of them has its own laws. Do you say that a broadcaster needs to study all those laws before launching a station? This is impossible.

For thousands of simultaneous listeners I'd suggest acquiring a dedicated server. Do it only if you're sure that you really need that much listeners, otherwise you'll end up wasting money on a dedi.
