    Imaging tips and tricks

I'm looking for some tips and tricks, like for adobe audtion.

to be specific, i'm looking for an idea how to acheive the "walkie talkie" type sound that is an imaging cliche for rock stations.

I'd also be interested in that same sound type. Awaiting input!

I don't know which version of audition you have but you can get what you want by leaving the brittle high end and removing the mids and lows to taste.

If you go into compression and look at the FFT filters there is a telephone effect that can get you very close, and in version CS6 you can go into Multiband Compressor menu item and select the preset Walkie Talkie setting and tweak to suite your needs.

Also I have just created a package for everyone's sfx tool box with the standard police to long-short-static-and click
