I use Adobe Audition 3.0, to prepare all my audio files, you can do almost everything with it.
It's very good but not cheap ($349) (it's not a plugin)
I hope this is what you mean.

Currently I am using Cool Edit Pro and there are plenty of plug ins to get your audio sounding crisp and clear. I never use to do much to my voice, but recently I started processing, using an equalizer and mastering. It all depends on what you want it to sound like. At one point, I had external processing equipment and had no need to edit much, so it just depends. Hope this helped somewhat.

    Hi!

I use external processing myself (Symetrix 528e). Before I bought 528e I used Adobe Audition's own plugins and some stuff from other companies.

I think that Kjaerhus Audio makes very nice VST plugins. http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/

I normally use GPP-1 plugin which is a soft-limiter. It limits the sound pretty nicely. I like the overall sound. http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/gpp-1.php

Kjaerhus makes also free plugins. They're good too.

If money is not a block, then use Waves plugins. They sound pretty hot. http://www.waves.com/

Yes. That is very good combination. I wouldn't change a thing. Which sounds good to you, is good. There aren't any written rules for anything like this.

Hi, is use the Ozone Izotope. You have a EQ, Dynamic Processer, Loudness Maximizer and much more other cool stuff. Its easy to work with it and the sound is good. Im using the Plugin with ProTools.
