About GamerFM​ Welcome to GamerFM. A new online community radio station targeted towards pc gamers. we play a good mix of everything but focus more towards pop,rock and dance music. The whole purpose of gamerfm is to build a community and safe place for people to hang out, somewhere people can be themselves without feeling judged by everyone else - just enjoy life and make some friends. We are slowly building up our infrastructure and back end so the website is secure and ready to go live. The station has been live a few months but only recently i have been pushing it more. This is a non toxic place for mature people. At the moment we have a few djs doing weekly shows and the autodj curently plays a nice variety of genres. What makes GamerFM different to the rest? I'm not going to lie to you and say gamerfm is the best and so much different to all the rest. Ofcourse any online radio is virtually the same thing with a different name. But i want to make Gamer.FM more then that. I want the people involved in the station and listening to feel like they can call gamerfm their home. But I do want it to SOUND the best it can and do things the proper way. How can i listen? As you can see the main website is in development but thats not where i want the focus to be. Ofcourse it's important but i want to concentrate mostly on interaction and making connections with poeple.You can listen with our discord bot, on mobile apps such as streema, getmeradio!,liveradio.uk,mytuneradio,radioguide.fm & others. Hi All, I work as a syndication manager for various different radio shows. Many of my company's clients also post their radio shows online, on services such as SoundCloud and iTunes, as well as syndicating them to a variety of national and online stations. I was wondering - what is there to stop an online radio station simply downloading/streaming the show off of a service like SoundCloud and iTunes and broadcasting it without going through a syndication manager, such as myself? Obviously, it would be morally questionable to broadcast a show without the producers permission, but is there anything physically/legally stopping them from doing that? Thanks! Jim

Hi guys, in a few months I will be starting a commercial internet radio station which will play a variety of music as well as some other things here and there. I live in the UK and am thinking of purchasing the 128k Streaming package with max 25 listeners from Reliastream.com under their Euro IceCast London V2 (not sure what KH is??) I don't really need anymore than 25 listeners to start with anyway and am not expecting more than this. I am broadcasting from my house on a Fibre connection and my broadband speeds are the following: Down: 20Mbps Up: 1.80Mbps to 2.40Mbps How many listeners would I be able to expect with these kind of speeds. Like I said, I'm not expecting many, but for the ones that do listen I expect a reliable stream for them with no or very little buffering? I am also using a wired connection. Thanks!
