  1. Hi all. I've been running www.surfrockradio.com for about three years now, largely as a promotion site for our record label. We have a number of hosted shows and podcasts and good listenership and support from bands, but I'd like to share the workload and bring in some new team members. in case you don't know, surf rock isn't the beach boys. It's modern instrumental rock music such as Man or Astro-Man?, The Zillatones, Monsters from Mars, The Dead Rocks and The Blue Demons. I'm looking for DJs/hosts for three specific shows. 1. The Official Surf Rock Chart Show - a weekly one hour show playing the top five surf rock singles, and selections from the top five bands and albums. At some point in the future this show might be syndicated. 2. Sharawaji Surf Shack - a weekday evening show featuring bands on the fringes of surf rock. This can be surf lifestyle related music and not strictly surf rock. That means it's ok to play reverb-tinged indie and punk garage rock and songs with vocals. We are specifically aiming at the crossover between surf and mainstream here. An example of one band that does this well is Le Roxy Pro, but we may also venture into Jack Johnson, Tom Curren style acoustic surf and a bit of reggae. 3. Tiki, exotica and tittyshaker mix - this should be a one or two hour mix and somewhat danceable. If if you are interested in any of the above, please email me at info@surfrockradio.com or discuss here. mike \ooo/
