IamPaulie
I woke up to the alarm clock radio. The news was on, which I thought was odd, since I set it to a music station. They were talking about a nyc skyscraper or something on fire. I showered, shaved, dressed, etc. turned on the tv to see if there was any coverage. I saw the first twoer burning, with the announcer explaining that a jetliner crashed into it. I knew right away it was terrorism. Immediately after I thought that, I saw the second jet hit. There was no doubt. I had to get to work, I drove in in a daze, much like everyone else around me. You could tell by the expressions on their faces. I heard on the radio in the truck that the first tower fell. i got into work and the conference I was supposed to be working got cancelled. It was for Goldman Sacs. Many people who were in Vegas for this conference were from NY, and had friends in the WTC or worked their themselves. It was a very sorrowful day.
