JohnF30
A RUBBISH collection on a nature strip has yielded a surprising find in Melbourne's east. Two 10-year-old local boys were fossicking through hard rubbish in Surrey Hills when they discovered a tin containing thousands of dollars. Police said they were impressed by the boys' honesty after the pair took the money home to their parents, who immediately drove them to Camberwell police station to hand it in. Local officers are door-knocking the area for information leading to the money's owner. The owners would need to know the exact amount of money and be able to describe the distinctive tin in order to claim the cash, police said.
