WayneOwens
The easiest way to do this would be to have your server prodvider set up a sub domain for the request folder on your FTP, then create directories in that request folder on your FTP with all of DJ's names, then have them upload their requesters one at a time to that specified folder, from there, depending on what type of site you have (HTML, PHP, or DNN), you can easily configure a menu for them, now if you use DNN, I can create one for you, same in HTMl, just let me know what you need, and I can hook you up....takes about 10 minutes to set up
Cobby
thanks wayne, sorry for the long reply, i can get them all to put there requests in there own seperate folder on the website, then they can update it when ever they want, my main problem was how to change my request link between them. but if you are able to sort that out i would be very greatfull maybe a little panel where each dj selects there name and the link changes to there requests is that possible Thanks Chris
SpazzRadio
Cobby, I have my site setup to do exactly as you describe. Each of my DJ's have an edited version of the home page that has the links to their request list. They each have their SAM setup to upload the 'index.html' file on song change. So that with the first song they play in their set, the request links change. the autoDJ (Main) system does the same, so as soon as the DJ is done and the 1st song is played by the AutoDJ, it uploads the main index page and resets the links back to the auto dj request links. The ONLY problem with this is that if a listener is hanging out on the index page while a DJ takes over, they would need to refresh it to get the new links, unless your index page auto refreshes. wildun
I could set you up some code that will change the link per DJ when they are on live if you are using standard html text links. The DJ would type his link into a text box the same way you would for your webpage and click on a update button. When his gig is over either the next DJ would input his link or the outgoing DJ would input the regular link and update again. Would use a iframe where the link will be. WayneOwens
Actually, there is an even easier way that that. Cobby, if you have a MySQL server on your FTP, then I can upload a special piece of HTML to your server, well it's actually PHP, it will auto refresh, and when the new DJ comes on the person will see it and you can customize it to link to their requester.... Easy as 1,2,3. And I can set it all up for you at no charge

GEEMiX
Hiya Cobby, Can't you just change the "request" link to show a page uploaded by the current DJ's Sam Broadcaster. Instead of opening the new window with your request page, as it is now.... i.e. Just get your dj's to set their SAM Broadcaster to upload their request html page when they play live/stream. Those who don't use SAM could possibly do it via ftp? The drawback is them all having to know the login and password....however, it's easy enough to set up a second free hosting service and simply let everyone upload there. That way, your main site is protected and you just set your Request link to the new second service's request html file(s). Hope that makes sense? NickolasM.
"then just have the form submit an entry to the database that has the name of the djmod or whatever, and then when your generating the link fetch that and then generate the link based on that" Thats what he replyed back.
