Hi From The UK!

Hi all. I'm very new to all this but not new to the internet as I have been a webmaster for around 2 years in which time my main site has become the biggest UK online poker community with over 1,000,000 page views per month and over 1000 unique visitors per month. I have been expanding during the last year and now have over 30 sites.

 

I started to produce a podcast a few months ago but if I'm honest I did not have a clue what I was doing and the first episodes were to say the least poor. After a couple of months though I began to get the hang off producing the podcast although it was not easy as most of the content was recorded live at UK poker events.

 

I was hoping for around 200 download a month for the podcast but todate I'm amazed to say we have had over 15,000 downloads from either my site or itunes which I think is amazing. I'm now having a bash at internet radio so we can stream live from the big UK live poker events and have already secured contracts from the big poker venues in the UK.

 

I'm launching yet another site which is http://www.pokertourradio.com which will carry the live stream and this site needs to be complete by Dec 1st which is our launch date. I have already got a stream running and have applied for my music licences which I should have next week. I simply have a few of my podcasts looping on my stream and if you are interested you can listen to it here http://uk2-vn.mixstream.net/stream/23/listen.asx.

 

Yes I have a lot to learn but I'm looking forward to the next year!
