How Did you come up with your name?

I use the name Fix'd simply because by the time I've finished working with a client their website will be fixed.

A word of warning about going into web hosting - unless you have enough clients to cover your costs, or some fantastic unique selling point you will struggle to find customers.

I myself used to do web hosting and found it incredibly difficult to find customers. I know only host my own clients as they prefer to have both their website and web hosting with the same person

I am making an Online Dance Radio Station. It will not be influenced by big business executives looking for money or ratings nor by record companies pushing their crappy artists.

I wanted the name to represent this that not only will it be different than regular Dance radio, it would be better.

After searching a thesaurus for different words "unique, special, creative, energy, party" etc. I came across Ascendance and it was PERFECT!

Well for us it wasnt easy.

We wanted to come up with something that would be readily memorable, explained what we were and what we were all about. We settled on iWebRadio (short for International Web Radio or Internet Web Radio) after much debate.

So far its worked for us!

My company name wilds hosting service is pretty obvious. It is actually a sub division of my company Wild Dial Internet Services. That's right, I owned a dial up internet service, 56kbs yukkkk. When broadband finally got to the hills here (about 5 years ago) I sold the dial up customer base and retained everything else. I earned my wild name in my early teens and of course retained it although at this point in time I should probably call myself mildun.. lol My station name is pretty obvious too Radio NC.
