It's a good Idea but if the legality side of it concerns you then seek advice as to how legal it is. I relay my own stream to get cluster status and for more slots and this is fully legal. The thing is if it is an American station and they give out their station ID/Jingles then that does not promote your own station.

Yeah m8 i know that bit and could be a little problem ...but it would be like alot of fm stations are doing now like key 103 manchester radio but after 1am they team up with others and play the same dj ok yes they dont play the others jingles and so on but you could ask the other station to play afew of your jingles ..After all your going to be doing the same for them ..MY first post prob. wasint clear i ment you play there stream when they need it and they play yours when you need it :) Thanks JK

Technically royalties are paid to the agency where the stream originates. If you were relaying a US station and they are licensed and paying royalties it would be legal as long as you have their permission to relay. They would have to account for your listeners which normally is automatic.
