jkemr
a friend of mine has a page dedicated on his website where people can select songs out of his playlist on sam but he won't tell me how to do it. can anyone help?? thanks slim Open your sam file find samHTMweb folder then>>> SAM HTML output web template ############################ STEP1 ===== Open up SAM Broadcaster SAM->Config->HTML output Specify the following input / output files: \_playing.html \playing.html \_songinfo.html \songinfo.html And for the Playlist section: \_playlist.html \playlist.html Step2 ===== Set up your FTP details if website should be automatically be uploaded to a webserver... STEP3 ===== Edit the _config.html file to your needs. Step4 ===== Under the SAM Broadcaster menu: SAM->General->HTML output->Generate playlist This will generate the playlist since the playlist needs to be manaully generated... Step5 ===== Upload all files to your web directory (Including all album pictures for your tracks) ######### Your website should now be fully functional & automatically update each time the song changes. (PS: Make sure you checked the "Auto-generate on song change" checkbox) OR you can open sam folder find SamPHPweb folder then>> Installation: 1. Edit the config.php file and enter all your settings. 2. Copy all the files to your webserver. 3. Upload all your album cover pictures to the ./pictures directory. For best resuls, the webserver should connect directly to the SAM Broadcaster database if possible. If you however have a remote webserver, we recommend using the Remote Web Synchronizer to keep a mirror copy of your database on the remote webserver.
