Ricardo
I've heard CBC radio from time to time. My impression is that they have all the excitement you'd expect from government subsidized stations. I think they're most useful to residents in remote areas for weather conditions, etc. But if you live in an urban area, you may hear weather conditions for rural Nunavut, then a juicy interview with somebody who's received a federal grant to do a coffee table book on photos of leaves. Otherwise I think one of those stations has consistent classical programming. As for news, I often like to compare CBC's slant to the US stations'.
