tjoebgen
um... hi? *shyly nudges fake pebble with toe* So... I signed up here because this site shows up in just about every one of my searches in looking for help using SAM. I've been a small-time b-caster for a year and a half now using WinAmp (with songrequester and dosomething plugins), and love my hobby. I've been wanting a little more power and was given SAM Broadcaster for christmas. I have lots of questions, and net searching keeps bringing me here. Oddly enough, after registering, I can't get your Forum Search to work for me. I'm searching for the phrase "url to my sam broadcaster", but it keeps telling me that I haven't met the minimum number of 4 words in my search phrase. I keep counting and getting 5. So, I guess I'll go and post my question since I can't find it in search. Have mercy on me

Yeah I can't get that to work either, no idea why.... Nice to see you here By the way, the Spacial Audio forums will be the best place if you are looking for Sam support just because the majority of people here don't use Sam; whereas, 99.9% of the people on the Spacial Audio boards have Sam and use it. Welcome to Bcw though :D

GKIye
Hello and Welcome tjoebgen euhm ... Karl aka KWD .. however I made already some interesting topics about PAL issues and general details about SAM Its my idea that in general an important average of BW members is using SAM .. I made already several replies to BW members who posted specific questions But I agree with you that lots more details can be found at SpacialAudio concerning general issues about SAM just because the majority of people here don't use Sam If they not yet reached you .... accept my wishes for a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 Visit and listen @ BW ! wildun
Sam is simple yet complicated.. nothing wrong with asking. Many answers are available online. I would suggest the Loudcity forums as well as Broadcastingworld and spacial. I have answered many questions there and working on them here. I'm not an expert, just a frequent user.. lol. Karl aka KWD .. however I made already some interesting topics about PAL issues and general details about SAM Its my idea that in general an important average of BW members is using SAM .. I made already several replies to BW members who posted specific questions I'm not saying you can't find Sam help here, I am just suggesting to go visit the Spacial forums in addition to asking questions here because you'll get your question viewed by a whole lot more Sam experts. But yes, there are several Sam experts here, just saying there are more over at Spacial Audio. And I don't mean anything bad against Bcw by saying that.... tjoebgen
oh? it doesn't count small words in the count? I guess that makes sense. Thanks. KWD - thanks... It was weird that no matter what I was searching for, if I put SAM Broadcaster in the search, a BW thread would nearly always be near the top of the list - and many of them by phillipe ;) I also search at SA but their forums are almost as well written as their documentation and guides ;) I was rather hoping for more from a $300 program.
