JunaWeb
I wanted to get a 360 last summer but the whole economy screwed things up for me and I was unable to go that far into buying it :(
Ricardo
Would you say that the X Box is in the same ballpark as the PS3? I'm not very into console games, but I'd like to check them out. I've spent some time playing PC games.
Brutish Sailor
X-box is WAY head of the game. You can also tune into shoutcast from X-box. They built the PS3 VERY well, they just didn't build it with room to grow. It really shows in the online interactiveness and all the patches released via Xbox 360 to out-perform PS3. Perfect example was Fallout 3 which had a AMAZING idea. "Lets build a mock radio in the game with a format script." The broadcast changes based on in game time, events the character has done and his/her moral reputation. Multiple stations as well, but only 1 is truely interactive. The others just follow a playlist. Some only 30-5 minutes of playlist. When PS3 released the game, it was trouble in the air due to graphic rendering on the horizon. I would say that was the climax where most gamers started converting to the 360. Both have had issues with the power supply overheating, but X-box has done A LOT to fix that issue. I wouldn't have bought either 1-2 years ago. KNSJ.org / 89.1 FM San Diego
Eban
I have an XBOX 360 and a PS3. The quality of the games is pretty the same. The 360 makes more noise than the PS3. The online service on the PS3 is free, not on the 360. I like both, but I think I prefer the PS3 for the BluRay player. fozzy
I Have both and think the PS3 is better value for money and you save money in the long run..( ie playing online is free..) virgin radio (now absolute radio) are the only radio you can get on the PS3 they made there own player for it and its a free download. but thats the only radio you can get on it sofar but shoutcast radio is coming soon for the PS3.. kashie08
In my opinion Xbox360 is the way to go.. love it.. esp the Halo and Call of Duty games.. only the best of the best, but that's my opinion!
Brutish Sailor
The sad part is with all the companies that could have intigrated AAC+ V2 into their gaming system, none did. a sign of cheapness granted its not an open source codec. Would have made life a lot better for audio processing on the hard drive and whould have been nice for SC on 360, though a lot did not see that coming. kashie08
I used to play radio on my xbox360.. but now since i have a 120GB hard drive, i just toss all my songs on their and just listen while I'm playing the games.. My reasons to why I like xbox 360 is because Microsoft came out with it.. now I am a Computer IT Specialist, thats my major in college from which I'm graduating today...So the whole Microsoft lingo is like my thing.. if you get my drift --kashie

BWorld
The old consoles do, the new ones are as sturdy as anything My new one has been reliable, ive had it for over a year! VERY TRUE! I had my 360 (the first one) for just under 3 months. My second one (of a slightly improved generation) for about 6 months. My third one, I've had for almost 1.5 years now! I love the new one, especially the look of the new dashboard I just downloaded, it is tight. This one, surprisingly, doesn't get as hot as I thought it would for running it for hours at a time. I considered networking it, until I realized how big of a pain it would be to get it plugged in, and how cheap I am to not buy a wireless USB stick for it lol. ██ Stream101 | Affordable Media Solutions ██ Shared cPanel?
