Arfa B
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=I8jPi0sx_Kk You can get them off ebay, cheaper via Amazon though. The prices vary A LOT! £99 Amazon uk. Only accept certain types of SD Cards, loads of info. via Google..... Nice for mobile jox, or as jingle machines probably! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! Jinglemaster
As per my other post on the other thread, I have been using one of these for some time now. They take standard SD cards up to 4GB, not SDHC. On a 4GB card you can get around 800 tracks. You can a different 800 tracks on the other SD card because you can play tracks from either card on either deck! These are so underestimated. Instant start, seamless looping, pitch adjustment, etc etc just like any CD deck. The main BIG advantages being the sheer volume of tracks you can carry on card, VERY easy and cheap to have back up, light weight, only 2U rack space, very shallow, can sit on a desk, all in one unit, and no moving parts as such other than pitch faer and jog wheel. In other words, no CD motors or lasers to burn out. It is entirely solid state. At the price they are you can easily have two set up with jingles on one lot and music on the other. For live playout it is much better than software alone. I will do a full review and put it on YouTube soon.
Bizzacore
James, What's the model number on that piece your friend has that plays everything, plus the USB for connection to playout? That sounds real nifty.. interested in possibly getting one. also, does it *only* work with virtualdj?
lereve45
i have american audio sdj1 and it works like a charme i even use it on my radio to do some live mixing what i like most about it is the 2 decks can access the same sd card so you can mix fron one card or 2 sd cards, they have new one now that comes with a built in mixer so you don't need to conect it to a mixer take a look : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mK1T0Ec4rdw
