Arfa B
The GREAT ol' days when you were a young snot, not old enough or competent enough to go on air, so...... after you drove everybody crazy by badgering and badgering and badgering, eventually- they'd let you loose live on air at 1- 2 maybe 3 maybe 4 am and you just mixed music on two turntables- but BY GOD you really rocked!!! I am doing that right now!!! And I am lovin' it!!!! Just bought one of these, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=I8jPi0sx_Kk man it is GREAT FUN!!!!! Guest Baabaa Productions
Oh the days of turntables...takes me back to my mobile disco days....great fun. My early days in Hospital radio were in the company of turntables.....I am now showing my age...... No longer have a turntable but have thousands of vinyl....I was never one to get rid of the plastic. Guest Baabaa Productions
Arf, I can remember when the grave yard shift in radio meant you had to play the quota of the live musicians union music....that never impressed my friends. No one would play it during the day so you had to fit it in during the night...Great days........!!!! Mark

Jinglemaster
Aha! So I am NOT the only person who bough a DJ-tech SD1 then! Hooray!!!!!!! Arthur, isn't it a clever bit of kit. Have you discovered that you only need one SD card yet? You can play the same card on both sides, even the same track at the same time in different parts of that track???? VERY good bit of kit cheap. I have two 4Gb SD cards I use with mine. Oh. The days of just two turntables and a mic. Ahhhhh bliss. Now you need a degree in PCs, 37 arms, 4 tongues, the memory of a ..... erm, can't remember that one and the quick thinking of a master comedian. Whatever happened to a simple life? Oh yes, I do remember it was...... oh no, its gone again.
Arfa B
Aha! So I am NOT the only person who bough a DJ-tech SD1 then! Hooray!!!!!!! I've done a review for James, which he will put up soon! I REALLY enjoyed playing around with it!!! The price is outstanding too! Man, I remember how much Sonifex etc. cart machines cost, and Denon CD players/ recorders (and they always got too hot and commited suicide, even if left in open space!!!) If anybody moans about the price of the S1- they haven't lived!!! If you want Fin, add what you want to the review when it's up here!!! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You!
