JBVoice
Hey, I finally got the mattress pads to use for acoustics in my studio but didn't get the chance to put them up. Here are some pics of my studio at the moment. I will upload more once I get the pads up. -JB PS. I also attached my promo for my radio show... Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. carlwelden
The picture of Don LaFontaine was the first thing I noticed too (that and the AKG Perception series). What brand of "clutter-repellent" do you use? Mine ain't working!
carlwelden
A quick heads up on the name of your show though, before you hear it from anyone else... Don Joyce of the group Negativland started the "Over The Edge" radio show and has been broadcasting weekly since June of 1981. I have a few of their CD compilations from over the years. JBVoice
When you say "clutter repellent" I assume you mean that as a joke...lol but in reply to the show name, I was somewhat aware that it was taken..but I do not think it should be an issue at this point. Even if it is, within a year or so I will be located at a FM station and the internet radio show will probably change. But yea, I love the AKG Perception series! I have all but the Perception 170. Even though no one will ever be as good as him, we can still wish Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. Yes, I am kidding about the 'clutter repellent'...if only there were such a product, I'd buy it by the caseload (see my studio pic in other studio thread). I wouldn't worry about the name, it is a common enough phrase that it is most likely in the public domain. It's always a good idea to make an informed decision when committing to a name. As for AKG's Right now I'm happy with my C3000B when I need a condenser. Haven't tried the Perception series yet, but I've heard good things. JBVoice
I seem to be quite retarded at times...especially with jokes..lol but yea..the AKG Perception series is amazing for any recording studio. I use the Perception 120 for my internet broadcast, the 420 and 820 Tube for most voice over jobs. I am in the process of getting a new set of mics to be used for voice overs...I will look into the one you speak of Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries.
