noobii
 i don't have it yet nor SAM but i saw it somewhere in a thread but can't find it. i wanted to get stationplaylist on my server at home and have external dj's able to login and use playlist on the server. does stationplaylist have this option/feature? the thread mentioned that SAM was able to receive stream from dj to the home server, then streamed out to shoutcast server. doing this limits dj's ability for certain controls/server info. for those of you who have dj's not in your studio, how do you get them to stream to your home server/pc? Not talking about rented vps or rented dedicated server. but it does have the same concept i believe. i found a dj panel v3. what is that used for anyways? i thought it had all the necessary components to broadcast from there and thus, no need for broadcast software. Voxjunction
 i wanted to get stationplaylist on my server at home and have external dj's able to login and use playlist on the server. does stationplaylist have this option/feature? I'm no Stationplaylist expert, but if you are wanting the facility for DJs who are voicetracking to log on and see the playlist so they know which filename to save their link as, yes this can be done. You can get SPL to produce a html file with the playlist and there's an option to "include VT names". I voicetrack remotely for a station at the other side of the world that uses SPL. I don't need to have a copy of SPL, I just record the links in my audio software and save them with the filenames designated by the station manager. There's a really good Yahoo group devoted to SPL here:- http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/StationPlaylist/ Ross, the guy who wrote the program, is very helpful as are the users who all help each other with answers to queries. Hope this helps.
