What encourages you to do imaging?

Well, for me...I think it started with me starting an online radio station. That got me into radio which kinda led to voice overs. I also got voice lessons from a local artist. Not to mention, after getting involved with radio...meeting all kinds of amazing people in the industry :)

Well for one I have a face for radio!

I got into radio fairly early. Started with a summer job DJing at a RollerSkating rink, then Volunteering at the campus station WVUM (Yep, I'm a Hurricane). Did a little work in AM at WQAM years ago. They liked my voice for promo's and commercials. The kicker was I used to be very good at impersonations and impressions which came in handy. I was a musician and a total ham! An Alpha Male on beta blockers. A natural born center of attention.

When I got into Internet Radio and wound up running my own station, I began doing promo's for my DJ's, some people heard them and asked me to do some for them. When they offerd to pay me well...what can I say! All those years I wasnt doing seemed to drop away. I love the creativity of it all! And I hope to be doing it for years to come.

It all started with my online multi-genre music show that was on a network that I will no longer mention. I needed an image, so I created it. I would record my friends, family, etc. completely improve responding to the question, "Say something about Kingdomz Kutz...." It ended up resulting in some funny stuff. I layered them over music beds that I made myself.

I started making promos and sweepers for other show hosts on that network and since then it has become an addiction.

I decided to turn the hobby into a business June of last year. It was not until January of this year that the website was born. It is under constant development (like every site) and in my opinion, has came a long way.

Come take a look and make your own judgement.
