Comic Relief 2009

Recommended Posts

Red Nose Day [Comic Relief 2009] starts this Friday on BBC One at 7pm. Famous figures and the general public raise millions every year to help those in need.

James - the owner of Broadcasting World has created a donation page to raise funds in support of the charity. Broadcasting World has set this years target of £100 GBP and so far two members have made a donation, myself and Johnnie.

Everyone would like to see Broadcasting World meet that target before Friday, so please consider making a donation no matter how big or small, every little helps.

In return for your kind support, I will offer free voiceovers to anyone and everyone who makes a donation before Friday. Once you’ve made your donation, post your script here and I will voice it exactly as you want it.

To make a donation please click here

Best Wishes

Kris

I myself have just donated to this cause :) I was planning on donating before this post was posted :).

I myself will be "doing something funny for money", but I'm not sure if I can mention it here..., it involves gunge though, and an Internet station I work for!

Anyway, I'm glad to have donated. It's for a worthy cause. The amount I have donated could...

pay for a school uniform for a child living in extreme poverty in Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. Children can only attend school if they have a uniform and so the money would be used to break down a barrier to getting kids into education.

Also youa re running a donation page for your site are you? http://www.pinnellproductions.co.uk/

You are free to advertise anything after making a contribution to Red Nose Day! :D

THANKYOU ALL FOR YOUR DONATIONS SO FAR. This is my favourite charity and you guys are the best for helping achieve our goal!

At the amount we have so far, it could pay to take a young carer on an outward bounds activity day, giving them a much-needed break from their caring duties and allowing them to simply be children having fun! Keep it going guys :D

I donated another £10.00 which means we only need to raise another £50.00 by this Friday, to reach Broadcasting World's target of £100.00

Please, please consider donating any amount before then.

Thank you
