shoutcaststreaming
One of our main Data Centers shut one of our servers down because of DdOS attacks. Our technical staff worked 24 straight hours using an old backup, recovering / converting to new servers. We also struck a better deal with a premium data center and want to pass the savings on to you. However, our LOSS is your GAIN. We now switched from that Data Center to one that has fantastic DdOS protection in their hardware. We now have a s#$%load of extra bandwidth. For a very short time, we are offering (50%) off ANY product that you sign up for .. and it will last for the LIFE of your account. Remember we use Premium Tier 1 Bandwidth, so this is not your crappy bandwidth that some hosts offer 100 slots at 128k for ten dollars, which buffers all the time. Enter promotional code 'ddos' upon check out for your 50% discount. You will get the 50% off every month for the life of your account. New customers and old customers .. order anything at this promotion which will not be repeated. THFS
@GKREurope - DDoS attacks do not delete any data. DDoS attacks simply create downtime, by bombarding the server with requests.
GKIye
I agree with you for 100% !! @GKREurope - DDoS attacks do not delete any data. DDoS attacks simply create downtime, by bombarding the server with requests. I wrote "recovering all data" because Shoutcaststreaming wrote : using an old backup, recovering / converting to new servers so it looks to Me that an old backup contains data content  Visit and listen @ BW ! shoutcaststreaming
Correct, the data was not destroyed. The Data Center shut down our server and would not put it on line so we could recover all of the Broadcaster's files. We had a back-up of the server, that was about 1 week old, and we had to recover from that. Bottom line, we lost 6 customers and were up 24 hours straight trying to load software on a new server at a different Data Center and upload the Auto DJ mp3's for our customers.
