If you PM me your stream IP and email address I will send you files for .pls (winamp/iTunes player) and .ram (Real Player), All you will need to do is upload to your website home directory with a link or logo to the player. Can give you full details also.
fozzy
Is it not just the case to put .pls .ram at the end of your links?? for me it is but might not be for all not sure Fozzy

You have it the easy way. :biggrinthumb:

Best of luck, I think the post above covers just about everything else
Brutish Sailor
Excellent player from ALEX. LOL your absolutely right about the SS media player. I have to give a shameless plug for nick @ SS (the first guy that helped me get a leg into the understanding of this industry) If you dont feel like paying roughly $1000 on a server for WOWZA, s far as I know SS has the only transcoder for ACC+ flash hosting at the moment (that I know of) but for webcasters like me, www.stationengine.com is the way to go. James
While we are on the Nick@ss appriciation bit, he has been with BW from day one. Liturally. SS sponsored our opening by offering %40 off their services for our opening of BW. Also sponsoring many of our competitions and much more Also alexr, your player is going to be a hit. Maybe you would be interested in advertising a bit? *ahem* continue on hehe Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content
Norwood Radio
Thanks for all the replies, you see I don't use Shoutcast just Windows Media Encoder 9 series. So I don't have an open port or a stream ip? this is the only stream link given to me by the server host - http://vista.streamguys.com/norcliffe1?MSWMExt=.asf So I'm wondering how to get this into the other players ? WMP works fine but of course the encoder and player are compatible. Harry.
THREETEN RADIO
The only option's I can see are relay your stream to another shoutcast host and use other player links then or just use shoutcast host only.
Brutish Sailor
Ok, usually I would dig for HOURS on this subject until I find a decent answer, especially for stuff I have never messed with (like WME) But for this one, I will just say this. You have a stream host. I'm assuming you pay them for their services. DO NOT let these guys off the hook as far as questions about using their services. If they are good enough to take your money for a service, they are good enough to answer your questions when you get stuck. That's my solid policy on web host.
