That ain't what is known as a stable connetion ...

A good idea would be to change from internetprovider

Doesn't has your internetprovider into their contracts to the client any minimum and max values of their services ?

If you use a broadband internetprovider you have at least 10MB downspeed

but ok .. my country Belgium isn't perfect either .. but We have at least a reliable up and downstream. During prime-time hours (early evening untill Midnight) upstream can get lower .. but still with an average of 256kbps+ .. "and" We have still Monthly limits ...

If the Monthly limits are reached the client is on "narrow band" :crying: with a max upstream of 64kbps ... sad isn't ..

Rght now, my DSL provider has me on a dynamic server. .5 up (but I will NEVER see the day I break .3 up) and 1.5 down.

So the problem is when the server goes dynamic IP on me, it messes everything up. I need to go static, but that will cost me up to an EXTRA $40. For that cash, I'll figure out SC_Trans V2

LOL, I just got off the phone with tech support.

I really don't understand half the mumbo jumbo said but my (whatever 4 digit number he gave me) was turned up to %96 and apparently that's a bad thing when I am 1600 ft from the center.

So I looked at everything....

Then I tried unplugging the filter and going strait from modem to wall

LIKE A CHAMP.

No house phone, and that's what unlimited minutes on cell phones are made for.

I feel ripped off now lol. I hate my internet anyways, personally, it sucks. Not reliable, but its better than dialup and the only thing I can get.

SC-Trans isn't the only 'auto dj' out there. Some exist that far exceed the capability of sc_trans (liquid soap is a prime example). Also, many in-house solutions exist. For example ours is written in-house but we are considering the switch to liquidsoap soon which will give new features such as gap killing, transcoding, live cut-in, and crossfading.
