John Gaunt tells BBC Radio 4 internet radio is the future.

After being sacked from national radio station, talkSPORT for describing an interviewee in non to flattering terms. John Gaunt moved from traditional radio to internet radio and now broadcasts on Sun Talk, an online radio station set up by national newspaper The Sun.

 

Yesterday, John spoke to Steve Hewlett on ‘The Media Show’ about the unregulated form of online broadcasting, his wifi radio and freedom of talk radio on the internet. He calls traditional radio ‘dinosaurs’

 

9.98 million people per week listened to Radio 4 in the first three weeks of 2009.
