Hello

We are just starting our station and had chosen Jinglemasterto produce some jingles for us. However I just went to order some on it looks like they are not in business any more.

"Jinglemaster studios closed its doors for the last time at 6pm (GMT) on 10 June 2009

We are no longer offering jingle or radio production"

So we need to find someone else, UK accent preferred (but not essential) male and female. We will be looking for a full package of stuff (paid for) to be produced with all bells and whistles in the next week or so.

What I would like is some samples I suppose. So if anyone wants to have a go I have provided some ideas below, but feel free to improvise and go with the flow.

If its not too rude I would like some from different people. I am not trying to get free work. I will be purchasing in the very near future, but like most online radio stations we make no money...

Text ideas

* Are you a musician or part of a band? Would you like to get your music heard? If so head over to www.orestoneradio.com for details on how you can get your music played...

* Your listening to Ore Stone Radio, playing the best in unsigned new music..

* Ore Stone Radio, the number one for unsigned new music...

These are just some ideas, I would be greatful for some other ideas.

Who ever helps me out will get rep & thanks here, a link or our website PR2 (only going a few weeks) and climbing, and consideration when I start spending money later this week.

Thanks in advance...

Alan

may I ask what?

I am trying to start a station on a low budget. I was honest about that...

I payed Jingle master for a Produced station ID a couple of weeks ago (it was great), went to order some more and now he has closed...

I now do not know where to go.. You do not have to help me. I really do not mind. I thank those that have and respect your decision but the 'smell' is not coming from here.

what do you mean "smells funny"? It's not me, I showered today. I've been a professional broadcaster since 1988, operations manager, program director, production director and been on the air at 3 different stations at the same time hosting morning talk on one, afternoon drive on a classic country station and weekends on a modern rock station as well as an 80's retro show. I'm wondering what's being implied as well. I'm here and a few other places (no offense to the management here, it's a great site). I come here to keep my pipes in shape because that's what it is all about. Some of us believe in giving back to the community, I choose to give back by offering my services to those that might not otherwise be able to afford what some of us offer. I'm not that expensive, but if you don't have 35 cents for a pack of gum, it's a budget breaker and you don't chew gum. One day perhaps when you do have money, it'll be shared, but still, I believe in helping out. When I got started, there were people that helped me. I'm trying to return the favor. :)

Alan and JB, I wasn't asking you guys what smeels funny. It was directed at the person asking. JB offers great work, scripts are everything Alan. I use sights like this to warm up my voice. If I get a paying gig, great. If not, I was able to help someone that needs help and still get my pipes in shape for the jobs I was working on. I'm getting older and the coffee doesn't always get me in shape, lol.

Kudos to those that are able to give on this site and others. At least some of us realize that giving back and paying forward are part of life. Hopefully I haven't offended any of the powers that be. :)

Thank you Alan. I am glad that I was able to help you when you needed help. Who ever you hire as a replacement for Jinglemasters will be happy to have you as a client. I feel bad for them having shut their doors and for the clients who were happy to hire them. Times are tough and sometimes good companies close or change their focus and target market. Places like this have people who are happy to step up to the plate and fill the gaps while you find a replacement.

OreStone,

Be sure to remind me on the official request that you are from BW so I can work in the BW discount ;)

Plus, I know you are on a none-low budget. I work around that :)

Hello

Can you PM me the link to the other site? As I honestly can't find them on my hard drive.

I was sure I got some, but thought they were from here as this is the only forum I am active on now.. I lost some things when my hard drive crashed a couple of weeks ago. I recovered most but only Jingle master samples. Hence I was going to order from him.

Cheers Alan
