Brutish Sailor
I want to say I am OFFICIALLY very pleased with these puppies, and I award it my vote on the hobby broadcaster choice equipment. I got the UR-20 for $26, VERY NICE sound quality, and ranges between 30-20000 Hz for freq response (and yes, I can tell) The only thing I didn't like about them was the padding on the outside was a little cheap, but for 26 bucks, WHO'S complaining !?! Arfa B
I like Philips headphones, they always sound wonderful! Those Beyer headphones sound awful, I really would like to know why they became an industry standard? The AKG K160's are and were better! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! johny c
Brutish, what breed are the phone's. I use Sanyo SHPX510, cost $34.95 NZ. Great crisp sounding with good bass and light on the head. You hardly know you have them on. Most cheap phones Ive tried lack it in the top end and sound dull. RadioBrandy
I guess this means I won't have to fork over $100US for a new set of headphones as my Sony's coil on the left side opened up; I like a nice crisp sound too, dull sounding headphones do nothing for me. If I want it dull, I will turn down the treble myself. Good to see you here Johny!
johny c
Yeah Steve, at the price they are worth the try.The metal bands can be bent and shaped for the perfect fit. You hardly know they are on your head. RadioBrandy
To bad those Sanyo shpx510 headphones are not sold in the states by Sanyo. I checked the Sanyo USA website; no such thing on the US site. I will look for a store that sells gray market Sanyo items, or order them from NZ
johny c
Maybe they are an dicontinued item in USA and theve dumped the rest down here to get rid of them. Might pay me to go and get a few spare pairs I think.
