producerpinnell
As many of you know, I'm going to launch a "shop" on the Pinnell Productions in the near future, but I've been thinking what's the best way to go about this... 1. My idea is to have "samples" online of what you are about to purchase, and should you wish to purchase the entire thing, you first make payment via PayPal, then I send you the actual file. 2. Or, another idea, should PayPal not work on my website, provide an e-mail address, where you can request your order, I then reply with my bank details (Only the ones you need mind, not everything!!), and then once payment has been received by me, you get sent the file. I'm personally thinking idea 1 is easier, get payment via PayPal first, then send the file, although I'd need their e-mail address to send said files too... Thoughts would be most welcome
JBVoice
I use to have it set up like option 1. The problem was, when I was away on vacation, people would buy packages, not noticing the VACATION notice. Also, its easier to talk one on one with the client before ordering, getting a feel for them...like if they are a church or non profit, I usually give a discount. Thats why I make them fill out a form, I send a price, they send a script, I send completed files My 2 cents. -JB Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. KHUK
1. My idea is to have "samples" online of what you are about to purchase, and should you wish to purchase the entire thing, you first make payment via PayPal, then I send you the actual file. I would opt for option one. If there comes a time when you're not available on a day that a client wishes to purchase an item, just make it known on your website, explaining that you will deliver their order as soon as you're available again. JBVoice
Option 1 is the best, but I've done that, even have a message that says that I am away...they still order and complain for the wait. LOL, but in your case, option 1 is the best choice -jb Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. producerpinnell
Hello Guys, Firstly, many thanks for your replies. I have decided to go with your replies, and am opting for Option 1. I'm now developing the page(s) on my website, and the shop should "launch" sometime during August. It's just a case of getting some PayPal stuff working on my site now! Thanks again, and I'll keep you posted on progress in this topic!
