JoshCherok
I would like to have things posted on the webpage like automatically. I need codes/scripts to have it show the most requested songs if possible etc. Any codes anyone has Thanks, Josh
BWorld
I would suggest doing this via SAM Broadcaster. It runs reports, otherwise there is no way for it to happen automatically because you would still have to update the requests, etc. ██ Stream101 | Affordable Media Solutions ██ Shared cPanel? JoshCherok
I do have SAM BC. Where can I find the scripts to do so? Josh
BWorld
You have to understand that I dont know of any scripts. Maybe someone else does, but I have never found any in all of the time that I searched for them in the past. This is something very advanced and would require lots of time. For this reason, I don't think that it would be free. ██ Stream101 | Affordable Media Solutions ██ Shared cPanel? theoriginalrage
http://www.mylocaljams.com Is this what your looking to do? If so then you have to get into Config>HTML output and configure it to upload the html output to your site then you just have to include _top10requests.html on the page you want it to show up on. We are using asp to achieve this but you could just include a link to that webpage. The configuration of the page to get it to look the way you want is a bit trickier. SAM saves the output html's as separate files like header, footer, top10, nowplaying and so on. You have to go in and modify each one to your design. Hope this helps. GKIye
Yep .. I use it the same way but by using the HTML version and that works fine to Me .. If php is used listeners can also dedicate a specific track etc .. Question is if thats often used .. Operational its easy to make By using SAM you will find a tab with "Generate" and "Generate Playlists" - Generate : makes that the currently played song is updated (happens automatic .. but interesting if any prob appearce) - Generate Playlists : makes it possible to generate all your "visible" playlists (those into your SAM directory "Music (Music All)" .. so 0-9 and A-Z Make sure that into the SAM FTP config all your details are right (username, pass, port etc) Make sure your firewall accept port 1221, SAMBC\SAMReporter\SAMReporter.exe and SAMBC\SAMBC.exe If everything is set as it should be and after the upload of all content (playlists) to your website you gonna see all details, both currently playing, most requested etc If you wanna give listeners access to make requests .. you need the "request proxy" who communicates with SAM .. but I guess you have already that kind of script ... If not ... I can upload it for you Hope this was usefull Visit and listen @ BW !

icyshout
If you run Icecast you can stream the metadata from your mp3's and just grab that data from your stream and post it wherever you want.
