James
Digital radio was officially launched in major capital cities in Australia, Melbourne hosted one of the launch parties with ALL the major radio stations broadcasting from one building! I have to say, it looked like a brilliant way to broadcast and such rivalry happened apparently. Some tried to advertise and stomp in on other stations for a bit of a laugh ;) Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content

Some tried to advertise and stomp in on other stations for a bit of a laugh ;) Of course 'Rivalry' would happen, Unless it was... Gay pride day and they all sung song's togeather and hugged. That would be a great picture, Wouldn't it? Did you attend it?
Arfa B
Digital Radio has failed dismally in the UK- DAB and DRM are far too expensive for the average b'caster to afford. Besides, they hate to admit it, but they have all missed the boat, people listen to their own music on their Ipod's etc. WHY? Because Radio has repeatedly dropped its standards again and again, all driven by the wonderful more profit ethos- and accountant driven cost cutting excercises! The old adage- you pay peanuts, you get Monkeys applies now more than ever in 2009! When will they learn............ never I'm afraid! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You!
