Need help about plugins!

Recommended Posts

There has only been a few hours between your two posts and you didnt specify anything about the plugins, such as what software, etc.

Be more detailed and I'm sure you can get a response. Just remember we cannot read your mind ;)

Just thought I would ask if anyone had recommendations for plugins....for voice processing! What is the best for use?! What kind of EQ and Compressor......thanks!
Hi emindedic,

That is a great question, with so many different type of plugins, one can certainly get lost. You might want to do a "google" search for VST plugins for a start. If you are using Pro Tools then you would want to check out the Pro Tools web site.

I use some inexpensive VST plugins from ANWIDA Soft. Several years ago I bought the Equo Pack ($199.00 US) which is a collection that includes a Compressor/Expander, Limiter/Maximizer, along with various EQ's. These will work for PC or Mac and the "Mac Pack" includes the AU plugs. Each plugin has a selection of presets that will change the plug for different situations. You'll have to come up with your own settings and work flow... Hope this helps!

Kindest Regards,

Jerry

Hey Jerry thank you very much.....I will try with your plugin's.....
emindedic,

You are welcome for the info on ANWIDA... One more thing before I forget... ANWIDA allows you to download the DEMO's so you can try before you buy. The demo version is crippled by placing a tone in your audio every 20 or so seconds... But it dose give you a good idea how they sound...

Yes, I've downloaded Anwida DEMO, and it's excellent plugins, but the price isn't so good :-( ......but you're right...I have some ideas how they sounds.....

Other suggestion.....?!

emindedic,

No I don't have any other suggestions on VST plugins. If you check the other prices for VST plugs you'll see that the good ones cost alot of $$$. For me the selling point was the presets that way I do not have to be a sound engineer, plus the price fit my budget compared to other brands... Best of luck to you in your VST search.

Kindest Regards,

Jerry
