What do you recommend when it comes to Programming/Voicetrack.

OTS Broadcaster (AV DJ)

Station Playlist

I'm battling cost difference, and wondered if I should take anything else into considerations.

Also, can SAM Broadcaster v3 program/voicetrack?

Much help needed,

-Roy

I am pretty sure Zararadio does it, and that is free.

If you think about it, ANY player will do it, as long as you supply a palylist such as m3u or pls and then put the files in order.

I am personally very much against it! It has been one of the things that has made the larger stations all sound very cheap and boring. If you are a small broadcaster- go one better than them- do it live or recorded, but, do it better!

If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net

Thank You!

Well my partner and I have a couple things of floating in our minds. We want control over the music content thats be broadcast. So we are thinking about getting other DJs to voicetrack their shows and we air it OR the other idea is to send the DJs our playlist log, them do their show live following our music log.

What do you think? And please send me more information about software (programming/voicetrack)

Hi Roy

If you want "real" voicetracking, ie the voicetrack runs up the ramp to the start of vocals, go for StationPlaylist.

Programming in Creator does a pretty good job, but it ain't Selector (and neither is the price). The next version will have an import facility so you can use an external scheduler if you prefer. I've tested it with MusicGen and it works well.
