"iPod Nano Now With Inbuild FM Radio!

The new FM tuner lets you see the names of songs and artists. And two amazing features — iTunes Tagging and Live Pause — make listening to the radio nothing like listening to the radio.

There’s always something great on the FM dial.

And now the FM tuner lets you hear your favorite morning shows on your commute and discover new music while you work out. It even shows you what and who you’re listening to.

With Live Pause, you’ll never miss a beat.

Say you need to take a quick break from listening to your favorite radio station. iPod nano lets you pause it with a click. Another click and you’re listening to your station again. You can even rewind as far back as 15 minutes, then fast-forward to catch up to the live broadcast."

This is quite a big jump for the nano, firstly. The nano is NANO! Tiny, incy! With the ability to listen to music, listen to the radio, play games, take photos and video. This is an industry first. But will the trend pick up? Many Mp3 players have had this functionality for over a year and now that the ipod fanatics have FM radio, will it spark something new?

Do you think digital radio or internet radio will ever make it officially (without an app or 3rd party software/hardware) on the ipod nano or any of the ipod range?

Awesome! I do think one day, wireless will be more available, such as cell phone towers. That would allow cars to be fitted with internet radio, internet tv and surfing capabilities! That's what I think the future brings! :)
