gulfam
Hi, I have downloaded and installed trial version of Cast Control on my server. I want to add a server on port 80. I have a free dedicated ip address and using WHM cPanel. Please guide me how I can add new server on port 80.
m2m
When setting up a server instance in Cast Control - make sure you enable the port 80 Proxy on the configuration pages. To listen to the Port 80 Proxy stream - utilise the correct listen link available (again) in Cast Control
gulfam
Thank you for your reply. Actually I don't want port 80 proxy. I want something like 11.11.11.11:80 instead of 11.11.11.11:8000. I already have port 80 streaming from another host. But now I want to enable it on my own server. BWorld
you cannot change the streaming port to an IP address with the port of 80. This would conflict with apache and just wouldnt work. Port 80 streaming is a proxy. ██ Stream101 | Affordable Media Solutions ██ Shared cPanel? gulfam
I have installed Cast Control and tried playing autodj. But instead of a song, I listen only noise. Why is it so? I am using a VPS with 384 MB ram.

gulfam
It's working now. I have also created a port 80 proxy. So, now shoutcast server is running on port 8000 but listeners are also able to listen it on port 80. The Apache server is also running fine.
