Hi Lauro, and welcme to BW.... perhaps you'd take the time to tell us a little about yourself... you know, like hobbies, where you hail from- that sort of thing!

The it makes doing a voice over for some feel that little more "friendly and personal" rather than just a name that appears, maybe just takes, and could possibly dissapear. I am not saying you would, but, hey try and be a little communicative please :biggrinthumb:

It would also help no end in your quest to tell the Voice Over people how you pronounce your name?

loll, lau-oo, la-o, lauw, lo, layo ???? There are many, many possibilities there.

Cheers, AB

If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net

Thank You!

i can afford to buy a gold plated watch for you. bently - i dont think so.

unfortunately, i can have have the voiceover done with $5. cheaper dont you think?

Its all good mate :biggrinthumb:

Ius suggest you let people know a bit more about you and what type of broadcaster you are! Make a welcome thread in the Introductions forum, let us know about your station and have a bit of a chat with some of our members! You never know, we might help you out with something else aswel as a voiceover!

:welcome:

thank you very much AB and james. i am a software developer. sometimes i dj in some private parties like birthdays (they do no have the budget to hire a professional dj) or ordinary get-together with friends. i do not charge for my services. i just feels nice to see people dancing their heart out. i heard some dj drops on the radio and i thought it would be nice to also have one - just one "IN THE MIX WITH DJ LAO".

my name is pronounced as "la-w" as you would pronouce "loud" without the d. again thank you very much.

thanks frank,

i am sure the people at parties i dj in will enjoy listening to drops with my name on it. you know dance simple birthday dance parties like these help people forget about poverty. you know sometimes the birthday celebrants are so poor that i even volunteer to buy food for the party. I am from the Philippines - the country known to have leaders who are sooo corrupt.

By the way, can i change my request from "IN THE MIX WITH DJ LAO" to "LIVE HOT MIX WITH DJ LAO". lao is pronounced as you would pronounce "LOUD" without the d.

again thank you very much.

Wait, are you saying that national leaders could possibly be corrupt? WOW! Good thing we had Bush and now we have Obama. No problems like that in America... Oh yeah, I went there, and that was certainly sarcasm. lol

Welcome to Broadcasting world. Have fun here, it's a great resource. When you are in the position to do so, please consider making a purchase from one of the voice pros or production experts that contribute to the forum. It's how we make a living (Ramen noodles anyone?)
