What should I be using for my Buffer settings? Right now I have my... Packets:5 Packet Time: 10 ms Thanks. LJ

JBVoice
Packets 15 Packet Time 20 This is how I have mine and the audio comes out crystal clear, it just all depends on your PC performance I believe. It's funny because I had this same problem tonight....ROFL!!! during my show, the owner emailed me and told me to change it to that, now I can turn my mic higher, so that it matches the music levels -JB Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. JBVoice
Those settings allow maximum output with no clipping (static and crappy sounding vocals), the only thing it does is delay the time your voice reaches the mic input on sam by like .8 seconds, but that wont matter to the listeners. Make since? I have found, the lower you have your settings below 300 maximum latency, the quieter sam will let you have your mixer/mic turned up. -JB Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. JJDJRadio
Ive been running the 15/20 Combo and last night i got the garbled up voice again... JBVoice
Yeah, the 15/20 settings worked perfectly for a few shows, but this past week as I was reviewing my show file, it did the same thing as you are claiming....I'm thinking about ditching Sam altogether and getting the paid version of Zara Studios or Station Playlist...gah!!! NickolasM.
SAM is great, but terrible all at the same time. Agree. In this case, you do not get what you pay for.
