LeafpileRadio
OK, So I think I have came pretty damn close to perfecting this art. Check it out and tell me what you think. On the music promo the third voice was supposed to be a type of robot, couldn't get the filters to work though.
GKIye
Yo man ... Yo Leaf GREAT ! You did a very nice job ... I love the most the second one (station promo) ... that one is indeed "very" close to perfection :D ... about a "robot" effect .. this can be easily done ... problem is that almost every audio editing software has its own type of robot-plugins Fruity Loops has a very nice plugin where you can make your own "short" liners (2 untill max 3 words work perfect) ... The FL robot-plugin gives a very nice result. Keep on doing the good work and all the best ! and again congrats Visit and listen @ BW !

jax_rox
in the music promo, Id suggest tightening up the song grabs, can make it flow better and make everything sound much tighter. For example you may cut into nickelback for 'you look so much cuter with something in your mouth' and then immediate sfx with a 'toxic radio' over the top into the next song. you also probably only need about eight bars of the second song if that and you could probably also use only the one line of 'aint no rest for the wicked' Also, I'd suggest as well as breaking up the different lines of 'this is toxic radio' with different effects, try breaking it up with different lines, for example the robot effect you used would perhaps sound better just as a 'toxic radio' liner, and taking out the 'and this is' would also help to stop it from sounding too repetitive. The station promo sounds pretty good, the levels probably need a bit of tweaking though, the sfx are really loud compared to everything else. Id suggest trying to tighten up your voice read a bit, and tighten up the band names closer to each other, perhaps play with the panning a bit, or voice effects to kinda break up the different band names and also helps to hide the fact that theyve been recorded seperately, as the different emphasis and volume suggests. Idea - after 'some of the best hits' go straight into 'theory of a dead man' then perhaps play a good grab from one of their songs. Also, after the website name, try to come back into the music bed on a beat. Just my thoughts and ideas, do with it what you will
