saint
Put aside the apathy that the broadcast radio industry showed for a decade. Forget about the royalty rates that have continually been the sword of Damocles hanging over internet radio's head. Stop with the worries that player incompatibility and buffering problems might prevent the masses from moving to online radio. Many people predicted that internet radio would impact the radio industry. Many people in broadcast radio ignored those calls. It's been a long time coming, but now the whole radio industry is finally buzzing with forecasts that "online" is the promised land. The new topic is streaming and what you can do with the internet. http://www.audiographics.com/agd/111809-1.htm Relaxing Entertainment For The World - - www.ScenicRadio.com
GKIye
Very interesting to see is that there is an important increase of female listeners to internetradio (+ 14,2 %) Into the real world of advertising the female audience is also an important part of the public aka target In general from now on We can say that 2 out of 3 people do listen basicly to internetradio. From an advertising point of view I do miss in this study the "average total daily amount of time" : divided by age, location (home, at work, on the road) and time of the day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) Thanks for sharing ! fridaynightsmoke
It helps that "Internet Radios" (WiFi stream players) are getting cheaper now- I've seen them on sale at £40 recently, they were £100+ not very long ago.
