Arfa B
You MUST watch these in order this one first, which you will probably know... and then you must watch this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfdwqRk62zg and you must listen to it all!!! So, tell me the difference?!?;) If you want to know what the jangly instrument is, it's a hammered Dulcimer (and soon I will have one ;-) It's an astonishing instrument, a bit like a zither (Remember The Third Man theme/Harry Lime) but better! A larger version was used to make the Persuaders theme (a Cymbaline) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykLCAfVa410 A Cymbaline is like a grand piano size, in fact it was the forerunner of the modern piano- only the modern piano had hammers driven by keys! Here is someone that really knows how to play one Here is an Electric one and this, it's amazing- this guy is on something more below (spoiler) The second song above is the original made by Lalo Schifrin an Argetinian Jewish composer for the Mission Impossible TV series in the 60's!!! Apologies, but I just love the sound that instrument makes!!! Thre is another version, bit like an elongated guitar, doesn't sound as good though! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You!
