danw2007
Evening all, I require a free voiceover for an online station. First one is: "Here is how to get in touch with the studio at The Mix Radio: If you are listening on the web, e-mail us: onair@themixradio.co.uk, or you can use the request line on the web player. Call the studio on: 07826 038265, standard mobile rates apply, please ask the bill payer before making your call Text us: Send TMR and your message to: 07826038265. Standard text rates apply, please check with the bill payer before sending your message The Mix Radio - Fresh Hits for the UK" Many Thanks, Dan :biggrinthumb:
kiwiborn
wow...that is more than a free voice over... that is a whole package! Do you realize how much time it actually takes to do these...? not the voicing, although most of us do more than 1 take. The editing takes a fair while? In all fairness to us pros.. if you want a whole package, then really you ought to at the least offer a set donation! If you were to buy these from us, you would be looking at a fair amount of money mate! Really, we do not mind doing the odd line or two... but please be fair and considerate of our time. You do realise that this is one voiceover and no more, and it isn't as though I am asking for production or anything to it.
frankallen
Actually you are asking for (4) as each one is stateing a different thing and regardless if your asking for production or not its a hell of a lot to ask for free considering you are a non active member here, Yes you pop in and reply on a couple of posts when you want something other than that where have you been since july ? And correct me if im wrong was the last time you were here. I myself willl not entertain your request here your simply asking to much and prepared to give nothing in return http://i.imgur.com/qrEUBH7.png Check us out http://www.itsjustradio.org
BWorld
Dan, First of all, if you require a voiceover, it is not free. If you request a voiceover, then it could be considered free. Second of all, your voiceover is an advertisement and would be charged an ad rate, not a voiceover rate. This ad would take at least 30-45 seconds to read. Lastly, I would suggest you watch the way you ask and reply to voiceover artists as you do not want to get a bad rap here because the voiceover artists will not even look at topics you post. NickolasM.
Marc, Frank, Kiwi, I agree with all of you. Notice the Name Dan, "Request A Free Voiceover Or Production" Not "Request / Demand a Free Long Time to Make Voice Over" As the others have said, This is not a simple thing to do. It will take time, and of course, we will make a mistake reading it and have to redo it, so there is about three, to five minutes right there. And then if you want someone to produce it.... Ha Good luck! If you look at the other ones (Except for the ones for good causes, Charities) They are Waaaaayyyy shorter then yours. They are about one or two lines. We have a paid voice over section here now. I suggest you try posting in there. And as frank pointed out It seems to me you are what I call "A Hit And Run", When you need a voice over, you pop in, think hey cool Ill screw these people out of their time and get a super huge voice over for free!.... Think again.

Lloyd
Hi danw2007, I acknowledge that you have apologised, I would still like to point a few things out: 1) I'm not sure if you have or haven't, but try introducing yourself in the intro thread. You'll have a better chance of getting the voice over done 2) Dont request many voiceovers at once, these are done for free. So maybe 2 at the most. 3) make some helpful posts, Ones like http://forums.broadcastingworld.net/showthread.php?p=31266#post31266 aren't considered helpful. This thread is now closed. You can create a new one after you've introduced yourself and contributed. -Lloyd (ps, this is on my phone so disregard any mistakes )
