Heart Attack

Hi Folks, (Glad I can say that now)

Two nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night with chest pains and then I had pain in my jaw (upper and lower gums) and my face went numb. I went to the hospital and they keep me there for observation. They did all kinds of test and they didn't show that I had a heart attack. But they said the tests weren't 100% accurate. They could have gotten a false reading from them. So I could of had a heart attack. So now I need to go for a stress test and other test to see if my heart is alright.

But the reason I wanted to post this was.

I knew about chest pain, left arm and or shoulder, left side of your face etc. But I never knew about getting pain in your jaw.

So if anyone gets chest pain and pain in their jaw (upper and or lower gums) get to the hospital. It might be signs of a heart attack.

Yeah, I have been having some troubles after my brain tumor (cyst) incident. I had some sort of needle procedure done to I guess suck the cyst out. Recently however, I have had some serious chest pains, dizziness and numbness. I'm WAY too young to be going through all these medical problems, I mean...I still haven't graduated college yet!!!

Take it easy for a while, eat healthy, and sit back and watch some "LOST" ;)

Hope everything works out well, and you find out what happened.

Hey Bill,

I am so glad you are still OK- God knows how bad these things can be!!!

Luck is on your side it seems- take it as a warning though, and get a cholesterol test as soon as you can and get that down if it is high!

They'll put you on the treadmill and keep it going until they may see any problems!!!

Good luck mate- and look after yourself!!!

I told to speaking into a mic was dangerous stuff...... didn't I ? ;-) :retard:

The main thing is, don't worry!!!!!!!! - it's all part of one big silly game called life!!! Forget about the rest of the world, just look after those close to you!!!

If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net

Thank You!

I didn't think it was this dangerous :)

I've wroked a 100 feet in the air on a 6 inch beam, a mile in the ground and I climb 24 to 40 foot ladders almost every day and none of that is as dangerous as speaking into a mic. If I only knew

They checked everything they could think of and my blood pressure and cholesterol are ok.

wow... so sorry to hear that Bill, I used to be a cardiothoracic and vascular surgical nurse. heart things can be pretty scary.

And JB.. i never realized that was what you were dealing with, major stuff, no wonder your bills were so high. ((hugs))

Yeah and to make it worse, I was uninsured during some of the hospital visits/stays...therefore I am pretty much in debt for that. Then I get coverage, the insurance paid $2200 for an emergency room visit, and billed me $7.25 LOL go figure.

Guy's I hope all will go the right way with your health, I myself have no problems with my heart, but had in '92 a serious car accident and have serious injuries in the neck and back just not paralyzed but now live on painkillers and they can't do anything about it.

So guy's and girls keep your health, that's the most inportend thing in life.
